John Riady

John Riady is an Indonesian lawyer, professor, social entrepreneur, and businessman. He is currently Executive Dean and Professor of Law at UPH (Universitas Pelita Harapan). He is also Director of the Lippo Group and Editor at Large of Beritasatu Media Holdings, a diversified Indonesian Media Conglomerate. Born in New York City, John spent his early childhood in the United States, before returning to Jakarta at the age of four. John was educated at Georgetown University where he majored in Political Philosophy and Economics. He also received his MBA from the Wharton School of Business-graduating as a Palmer Scholar- and a Juris Doctor from Columbia University Law School. He is also a member of the NY Bar Association, and serves as Chairman of KIKAS-KADIN (the United States Committee within the Indonesian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry), member of the Columbia University Law School International Advisory Board, and the World Economic Forum Global Agenda Council. John is also the World Trade Organization (WTO) Chair Professor.

Lie Nathanael Santoso is Executive Director and Lecturer of Business School, Law School, and Government and Political Science at Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) – where he oversees the business development, programme initiatives, operations and academic affairs, and strategic policies of these faculties. He teaches international relations, public policy, and macro economics. He is also the executive committee of the US-Indonesia Bilateral Committee, Indonesian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KIKAS-KADIN). He had worked at Albright Stonebridge Group and at Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington DC. He earned his MA degree from Georgetown University, Washington DC, and a BA from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign.
Lulu Setiawati

Lulu Setiawati obtained her Bachelor Degree in Management from Petra Christian University Surabaya, Indonesia and Masters Degree in Business Finance at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), Melbourne-Australia. She started her teaching experiences since 2002. She joined Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) Surabaya since 2009 until now as a Lecturer in Accounting Study Program. She was also appointed as the Head of Accounting Study Program from 2009 - 2013. She has great interests for specific topics such as Finance, Entrepreneur, and Economics.

Currently, she is studying her doctorate in Management with a concentration in Strategic Management. Profesionally, she is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). Right now, she is appointed as Finance Manager and Acting Vice President for Finance and Administration at UPH Surabaya.


Ronald Suryaputra

Dr. Ronald Suryaputra joined UPH Surabaya in May 2009 as a faculty member in the Faculty of Business. Starting Academic Year 2010-2011, he was appointed as the Deputy Head of the Management Study Program, and was subsequently reappointed as its Head. Dr. Ronald is currently Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Dean of the Faculty of Business, Law, Computer Science and Creative Industry. He is also the Head of the International Relations Office. In addition, since 2015 he is also responsible for Student Development and Spiritual Formation. He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and his Master of Management degree from the University of Surabaya, Indonesia. In May 2015, he successfully completed a doctoral degree at Widya Mandala Catholic University, Indonesia in marketing concentration. His recent publication and research interests are on Marketing and Higher Education. He teaches Principles of Marketing, Consumer Behavior, Entrepreneurship, Research Method, etc.

Yanuar Dananjaya

Yanuar Dananjaya joined UPH Surabaya as a faculty member in the Management Study Program in August 2011. He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Physics from the National University of Singapore (NUS), and his Master of Management Degree in Finance from Widya Mandala Catholic University Surabaya, Indonesia.
His recent publications and research interests are on investment, international finance, and corporate finance. He is the Academic Director of the SIM GE - UPH Programme.

Erwin K Julistiono
S.Kom., MAC (HRM)

Erwin K. Julistiono started his career as a programmer after graduated from Information Engineering at Petra Christian University in 2002. In 2005, he took his Masters degree in Applied Commerce specializing in Human Resources Management at the University of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, with a full scholarship from AusAid.


Upon retuning to Indonesia in 2007, he started his new career as a Human Resource Specialist. 1 year in PT ACTS, 3 years in Buah Hati Foundation, and is currently working at UPH Surabaya since 2010 - all in similar positions as the Head of Human Resources Department. Aside from holding a full time position as a Human Resources Manager, he continues his passion in teaching by becoming a part time lecturer for several subjects related to his expertise at UPH.

Hananiel M. Gunawan
B.A., M.BA.

Hananiel Gunawan obtained his Bachelor’s degree majoring in Accounting, and minoring in Business Administration and Business Information System at Goshen College in 2008. Goshen College is a private Mennonite liberal arts college in Goshen, Indiana, United States of America. He was the recipient of the Freeman-ASSIST awards from the Institute of International Education (IEE) for his contribution in a local non profit organization in 2006. In addition, he also received the Rotary Club International award for his achievements and contributions to international education in 2008.


He spent several years working in Global Financial Group in Elkhart Indiana until he decided to be enrolled in MBA Program and graduated in 2012 in Bethel College. Bethel College is a Christian liberal arts college in Mishawaka, Indiana, United States of America. Hananiel Gunawan answered His call to be a lecturer. He decided to join UPH Surabaya to be a lecturer in the Faculty of Business. He has been lecturing in the Management Study Program, serving community services, and also researching in general management studies since October 2012. He now is one of SIM GE - UPH Business Program appointed co-lecturers.

Andy Edward Chandra

Andy Edward Chandra graduated from Singapore Institute of Management (SIM) in 2010. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from the University of London (UOL) Program. After finishing his tertiary education, he then came back to Surabaya to help out his family business in the timber industry and at the same time studying for his Masters Degree in Widya Mandala Catholic University, Surabaya.


Andy graduated from Widya Mandala Catholic University with a Magister Management (Strategic) Degree in 2013. He is also an active member of INSIM (a SIM Indonesian Student Association) in the Sport Section and now join SIM GE - UPH Business Program as one of the appointed co-lecturers.

Doddy Kosasih

Doddy Kosasih obtained his Bachelor of International Business and Bachelor of Laws, Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, and Master of Laws at Griffith University, Brisbane, Australia, SarjanaHukum at Narotama University and Magister Kenotariatan at Surabaya University. He started his academic career at Narotama University.


Professionally, he is a member of PERADI (Indonesian Bar Association). He is currently working as an Advocate at a law firm in Surabaya, H.K. KOSASIH SH & Associates.

Donald Latumahina

Master of Computing (NUS), B.Sc. Computer Science (Sekolah Tinggi Teknik Surabaya)

Donald has been a lecturer in information technology since his early 20s, both at Sekolah Tinggi Teknik Surabaya and Universitas Pelita Harapan Surabaya.


He teaches a wide range of subjects including web programming, Java programming, and e-commerce. In addition, he has a deep interest in other IT subjects such as game development and artificial intelligence.
